Working as an ACA audit trainee
As an audit trainee at Buzzacott, you’ll get to work with a wide variety of organisations and really see the impact of what you do.
You will be provided with unrivalled support throughout your trainee journey with us, both from your mentor and our dedicated learning and development team. We offer two distinct audit opportunities; Charity and Not-For-Profit, and Corporate Assurance.
Our audit teams
Charity and Not-For-Profit
As a member of our Charity and Not-for-Profit team you’ll learn how to audit, advise and support charities, including membership bodies and dynamic social enterprises. You’ll get to work with a diverse range of charities and not-for-profits from international NGOs, to arts and culture charities, to religious orders.
Corporate Assurance
By joining our Corporate Assurance team you'll work with a broad range of businesses from SMEs to multinational groups, including those in financial services, technology and media, and professional practices.
Whichever path you choose, you’ll study towards the ACA - the ICAEW chartered accountancy qualification.
Buzzacott works closely with training providers; First Intuition and Mercia whose courses are designed to help you get the most out of your practical experience. When you join us as a graduate, your contract includes a fully-supervised 36/39 month training programme for the ACA.
You’ll work with fantastic external tutors on a closely monitored and structured programme which involves:
- Training at tutors’ offices
- Regular tests
- On-the-job training
- Paid study leave
- All exam fees paid for
From the start, one of our managers will be your mentor, and you will have a dedicated Talent Coach at First Intuition to support your professional and personal development and keep track of your ICAEW exam progress.
